Start your To-do list
- Click on To-do in the toolbar
- Give your list a title
- Upgrade to LifeAt Pro for more than 1 to-do list
- Start your list of tasks. Click Enter/Return in between tasks for a new line
- Reorder tasks by grabbing the three lines on the left side of the task
- Check the box to complete a task (and celebrate when the whole list is complete 🎊)
- See your total task completion in the Progress Bar
- Hide the Progress Bar by clicking on the three dots to the left and choose “Hide Progress”

- Open the menubar on your desktop device
- For Mac, this will live in the menubar ⤵️
- For Windows, this will live at the bottom ⤵️

Time Blocking
Time blocking is a productivity technique for time management where a period of time is divided into smaller segments or blocks for specific tasks or to-do’s.
How to time block with LifeAt:
- Open the To-do list and Calendar, or open the Menubar (desktop app)
- Identify your available hours to schedule tasks, around meetings, classes, etc.
- Grab a task on your to-do list and drag it onto the calendar at any given time. Repeat!
- Review your time blocked work schedule, and begin
- Check off tasks as they’re completed. Watch your to-do list dwindle down 💯
Drag a task to the calendar
- Grab the task from the center and drag it to the calendar at any time. Your cursor will change from “CURSOR” to “GRAB-HAND” to indicate the task is ‘dragging’
How to adjust a task once placed on calendar
- Adjust the length of time for your task by making the box bigger or smaller
- Move a task to a different time by dragging to a new time
How to add more details to a task
- Add details to your task by clicking the “📆” icon
- Select date & time — tasks will show up on your calendar if there’s a date & time assigned to it
- Removing tasks
- “Remove from calendar” will keep the task but remove the task details
- “Delete task” will delete it completely
Pomodoro timer
The Pomodoro Timer is a time management method to break down work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks.
- Start a “Pomodoro” by clicking start, and focus on the task for 25 minutes with a 5 minute break
- Repeat step #1 three times
- On the 4th “Pomodoro” your 5 minute break will be replaced by a 15 minute break
- Start over with step #1
